Kapellenberg

The Kapellenberg, located above the eponymous Nikolauskapelle, rests on a massive limestone riff. Over time, eroded red sandstone was deposited on it, which now shapes the vineyards upper soil. In a sun-exposed location during the days but still in the area of ​​influence of the cool night winds from the Gimmeldinger Valley, crisp and shiny Rieslings grow here. To us, it is the little brother of the nearby Gimmeldinger Mandelgarten.
